Services for the users

The mesocentre in Aix-Marseille Université is in charge of the operation, the administration and the improvement of the computing resources available to the users. Moreover, it offers the following services :

Computing

Through an allocation, projects are granted access to HPC resources for the development and application of softwares (in the limit of the allocated time and disk space).
This service also gives access to installed softwares (compilers, libraries, debuggers, common scientific softwares, …) needed for the correct execution of the codes.

User workspace

Each user owns his customized workspace (disk quota, cputime allocation per project, accesses to resources).

Visualization

A dedicated server is available for remote visualization of data generated in the mesocentre.

Helpdesk

Formation and assistance are provided to help the users in their daily use of the resources, including home space informations, jobs and allocation monitoring, documentations, …
